Gentle, wise and kind he is a rich and successful Persian merchant, he lost his whole family in a tragic accident at a young age. He has since then dedicated his life helping his extended family and community by any means necessary.

A smart, loyal, witty and intelligent Princess in her realm, she “reincarnated” as a cat familiar after tragic events. She reached Rain while still a kitten and, unexpectedly, shaped everyone's fate.

Lena’s closest friend in the village. Meg is funny and forthright. A devout member of Buquett’s church, Meg is a healer, to whom Lena turns to in her darkest, most desperate hour. Despite her disapproval of Lena’s witchcraft, Meg is honest, trustworthy, and caring.
FATHER ROBERT ROSENBLAD III / ROB
An old friend of Lena and Meg, best known as Rob. Born into a rich and influent family, he was forced to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a priest, despite his dreams of a bohemian life.
